Have I told you about my 'Granddog"??? His name is Orion. He's almost 2 yrs old and a full blooded German Shephard belonging to my daughter and son-in-law. Oh this big guy loves his mommy.

My sister and brother inlaw had a shepard named Tara whom I adored, and my brother inlaw Bob has one now named Emma who is beautiful too.
But this grand dog is something else. He loves to 'box' with Kenny and will use both paws to swat and pop. Loves to catch anything thrown, and any game of tug of war is always fun too.
BUT don't mess with his mama. Don't get in her space unless she tells him it's alright. His dad is special too, but dad is big enough to take care of himself.  LOL
Orion has camped with us and is a great camper. He just likes the family to stay in a group. LOL don't wander off or he whines till you come back. And of course strangers need not come too close to our stuff unless somebody tells him it's OK.

When this dog was first adopted by them....I wandered how well he would do on word commands.(he's high octane energy in one big body.)  Now he is great with commands and surprises me always with his intelligence as he comtinues to learn. (Don't get out the roll of paper mom...I'll be good!!!!!) 

Ask  Uncle Steven how good Orion is at pulling him along the road while Steven is wearing his roller blades!

Oriion loves kids and is good with them, but is as easily excited as any 2 yr, old.
Ok so he's pretty active, so my pictures of him aren't the best, but I'll keep working on them.
